What is the UAA – United Arts Arena?

United Arts Arena® (UAA) is a global platform that celebrates and supports live art through competition, collaboration, connection and collecting, together with artists and enthusiasts all over the world. Battles and Tournaments form UAA’s core, and are open to all artists in the active arts.

Where can I watch a battle?

We will multistream our battles through our Social Media Channels such as Twitch, LinkedIn and Discord. However, you will have the best experience here on our website, as this is where the chat is maintained and the audience voting takes place. The best thing is, the stream is free for everyone.

How does a battle look like?

A battle is fought between 2 artist teams. The artists paint from home on their tablet in the browser-based app of our partner Magma . The creation process is transmitted to our Metaverse Arena, where all participants meet live.

Who choose the winner?

Each live battle is held between two teams in UAA’s metaverse arena. The artists have 30 minutes to create their work, watched by three panels: the UAA judges, the collectors and the viewers. When the clock stops, an NFT auction begins with the artworks, and points are awarded. The first point is given by the UAA’s official judges. The viewers then vote for their favorite, with the majority gaining the second point. The third point is awarded to the team that achieves the highest price in the NFT auction.

Who gets the money after the NFT was sold?

Our ethos is that we grow together. That's why we also want a straight split on NFT revenues - we're 50/50 on everything. 50% Artists, 50% UAA.

What do I need to participate as an artist?

To join as an artist, all you need is a computer, internet and a tablet such as an iPad or Wacom. Ideally, you also have a crypto wallet so that we can transfer your proceeds here. If you don't have one yet and need help, we will be happy to set it up with you, just drop us a mail at studio@unitedartsarena.com

How can I participate in the UAA?

You can easily register via the website menu on „Artists Registration“. We will contact you as soon as possible to let you know if you can participate in the next tournament. Until then you can mobilize your community, so that they can make noise for you during the battle and fight for the crowd vote. If you’re a collector or just interested in battles and the UAA, subscribe to our mailing list so you don’t miss what’s next. While there are private groups for competing artists and our Buyer’s Club, we also have a public Discord server.

What’s the difference between a battle + a tournament?

Battles are individual rounds of tournaments, and UAA runs tournaments, with participating creative talents from all over the world.

In each tournament, up to 16 teams compete against each other in a knockout round structure. Each live battle is held between two teams in UAA’s metaverse arena.

All battles will be streamed live!

What are Active Arts?

Any art that requires both a sharp mind and skilled movement. Illustrating on a tablet? Active Art. VR Sculpting? Active Art. Text-to-image Generation? Not Active Art.

What’s up with UAA’s Art Battles?

What’s this about NFTs?

Beyond the hype and hate, there’s a simple truth: NFT collectors have created a new economy for digital art, giving artists much needed financial support. Like any art gallery, the UAA knows and respects the important role of our collectors. And like a gallery, the UAA splits NFT revenue with the artist 50/50. UAA NFTs are carbon negative through our partner KlimaDAO. Furthermore every NFT will grant you access to our buyersclub on Discord. With the Buyersclub we want to actively shape the future of UAA together with you.

How do I join the Buyer´s Club?

The UAA Buyer’s Club is our collector DAO, existing on a token-gated Discord server. To join, you must own a UAA-minted NFT, available on Picipo.
